Svaroopa® Yoga
Learn a unique approach to yoga! Svaroopa® yoga specializes in core opening and decompression of the spine - from tail to top. This highly effective and therapeutic style of yoga releases the deepest layers of tension in your body. This non-athletic practice specializes in meeting your individual needs. Students of Svaroopa® yoga learn different ways of doing familiar yoga poses and also learn additional poses that they may have never seen before. Each class includes guided awareness, pranayama, and yoga poses. Precise alignments, propping, and personalized adjustments have a therapeutic effect on your body, mind, and more! Svaroopa® yoga is appropriate for both new students and for seasoned yoga practitioners.

You'll be held in supported poses designed for deeper release than you imagine possible. Specific therapeutic Svaroopa® techniques are chosen according to the needs, tendencies, and experience level of the client. Deeply nurturing, restful, blissful, and healing on all levels. Yoga Therapy is great for beginners or experienced students who want to explore more opening.
Embodyment®
What Can You Do to Relieve Chronic Tensions When the Usual Approaches Don't Work?
Svaroopa® Yoga classes can help relieve chronic tension, tight muscles, back pain, neck and shoulder pain. But, when the discomfort persists and/or has been chronic, Embodyment® Yoga Therapy may provide immediate relief and longer lasting and deeper relief and release. After you feel better and more mobile, regular classes and home practice will enable you to maintain the feeling of openness, relaxation, and relief from pain.
What is Embodyment® Yoga Therapy?
Embodyment® Yoga Therapy is a simple, yet highly effective and non-invasive technique that opens and releases the tensions in tight muscles surrounding the spine. By releasing the tightness, gentle and dynamic changes take place at the core of your body that reduce pain and increase mobility. Embodyment® Yoga Therapy may provide benefits equivalent to 6-8 sequential Svaroopa® Yoga classes.
What Does the Therapist Do During an Embodyment® Yoga Therapy Session?
The sessions are one-on-one private sessions where you rest, fully clothed, in Shavasana (Yoga's Relaxation Pose). The practitioner rests her hands on the lower spine for a period of minutes. With this gentle touch, the therapist assists the client in the release of deep muscular and emotional tension. These changes are integrated throughout the whole body.
When Should You Schedule an Embodyment® Yoga Therapy Session?
When you are in pain, having trouble sleeping, preparing for or recovering from a surgical procedure. If you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant or have recently given birth, Embodyment® Yoga Therapy can provide deep benefits in opening you up to pregnancy, relief during pregnancy, and from the process of giving birth. Or, YOU MAY JUST WANT TO FEEL BETTER!
